History

Clayton Studios was founded in 1976, by former St. Louis disc jockey, Dick Ulett. Back then, the equipment was one microphone, a control board, and two tape recorders. The studio was in the basement of his home in a remodeled one-car garage.

After a brief time in a basement office in Clayton, the studio moved to it's own building at 1126 S. Big Bend. Today we do so much more than audio. With 5 edit suites and a very talented staff, we are the place to go for recording and editing in St. Louis.
